I thought you might like to take a look at this site. Save Armstrong.com, You can help the endangered Orangutans in the rainforests of the island of Sumatra, Their habitat is under threat from deforestation at an alarming rate for the growth of the oil palm. The natural habitat is disappearing fast not only for the Orangutans but for the elephants, rhino and tigers too. These forests can be protected and the trees replanted with our help…

Habitat for Humanity

If you are wondering what is a good cause to get involved in why not take a look at Habitat for Humanity! There are local groups near by who are always looking for volunteers! you set your hours and choose the options that suit your qualifications or interest. Check out the site and look for a local group near you! I am going to take some photo’s and install some computers in my spare time. Hopefully I’ll see you at some of the events!

We are thrilled to be part of The charitybuzz Mother’s Day Auction that will be running through May 6th. A few of our supporters have donated one-of-a-kind items to be auctioned off with all of the proceeds going towards building more affordable housing in Los Angeles for deserving families. There is really something for everyone, so treat your mom, dad, brother, wife, or yourself (we won’t tell) because these are really gifts that keep on giving.
