Discover amazing things and connect with passionate people.

I used a textured background layer to bring out the wall and pavement to give them a bit more feeling. Then I masked out the layer around the coke can to bring it to the forefront. I was using Toolwiz on the phone to create the background layer…

Holiday Surf…

Hi all,

Hope you are all having a great holiday season.

I was walking off some of the Christmas goodies and getting some fresh air and a little exercise around Hermosa Beach. There was only a few surfers around the pier and not much of a swell but caught this shot before heading off  home. Hope you like it.

I am always impressed with Edge of Humanity Magazine and their quality of photographic reporting. There is a huge scope of photo articles from around the globe focusing on the human condition. Always fascinating, inspiring and sometimes necessarily disturbing!!

The Inspiration and Power of Print

power-of-printThis is a great insight into several of the industry’s most respected photographers who discuss their inspiration and the power of print. I know this is a great lead into Epson’s printing prowess but it was difficult to pass on such great photographers. I still have the 1985 edition of the National Geographic featuring Steve McCurry’s iconic photograph of the Afghan Girl.

Check it out and see what you think…

Been playing around with a great on phone mobile editor ToolWiz. It is very comprehensive and has some cool features. Actually loads of cool features. If you love taking photos and editing on the go this is a definite for your mobile device. It is so much fun!! Wish they had a PC app and I’d give up photoshop, well maybe!!

Great app, so give it a try.
